Locations: The university’s extensive online library in German and English offers round-the-clock access to databases, E-Books, magazines, etc.; Stock: 143,000 licensed and open-access journals in all subject areas; 20 E-Book platforms with more than 90,000 licensed and open-access E-Books; Nearly 30 Databases; Services: In-person training as part of lectures held in German and English; Online training courses geared towards the different needs of the types of study offered; Online office hours; Question-&-answer events (e.g. Apple, psychology, social work); Library coaching in a 1:1 setting; Individual appointments as required (online, by telephone or in-person); Brief, in-person information events on individual topics (coffee lectures, thesis get-together, etc.); Video tutorials; Online workshops

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Current sports are: Rugby, basketball and volleyball, football, table tennis, martial arts, cheer leading, cricket, tennis and badminton. The IUBH is a member of the ADH. Sport activities are organized by students and financially supported by the IUBH. The rugby team organizes a "Rugby am Rhein” tournament every year. The students take part in regional, inter / national tournaments (Eurokonstantia, DHM, Euromasters, Royals Cup, Nicolas Tournament, Cheerleader Varsity Europe, etc). Sports team leaders receive a certificate of appreciation. Sports: Current sports are: Rugby, basketball and volleyball, football, table tennis, martial arts, cheer leading, cricket, tennis and badminton.
