Special features regarding the library
University library, English and German literature with the main topics of the courses offered. The library stock consists mainly of electronic resources (databases, e-book platforms, etc.) to which all university members have access regardless of time and location. This is constantly being expanded. Users learn about the library’s resources and services through the EBSCO discovery service. A major focus is placed on imparting information and media skills. The library acts as a service provider for all university members.
Foreign language center and courses
There is a foreign language centre. Offered languages: English, French, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Arabic. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The IUBH is a member of the ADH. Sport activities are organized by students and financially supported by the IUBH. The rugby team organizes a "Rugby am Rhein” tournament every year. Current sports are: Rugby, basketball and volleyball, football, table tennis, martial arts, cheer leading, cricket, tennis and badminton. The students take part in regional, inter / national tournaments (Eurokonstantia, DHM, Euromasters, Royals Cup, Nicolas Tournament, Cheerleader Varsity Europe, etc). Sports team leaders receive a certificate of appreciation.
