| The university offers its own sports programme. Students may take part in the programme at Leipzig University & the free online sports offer of the State Conference on University Sports in Saxony. Participation is subject to fees. The university sports centre at HTWK University of Applied Sciences Leipzig consists of the areas of sports, health and education. In addition to courses, university sports also offer a wide variety of camps and intramural competitions. In the field of education, there is a university health-management scheme in place – run together with a health insurer, Techniker Krankenkasse – that is divided into student and occupational health management, . In the field of education, most courses are in social work, but there are also a wide range of seminars in adventure education, podcast and video production as well as event management for all students.
