There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Russian lessons in the program students teach students; Monthly language meeting in English through the Cosmopolitan Club; German grammar/conversation for international students |
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. It is possible to participate in the climbing activities at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Within the framework of “Studium Generale” the module "Health Education and Movement" is offered. The goal is to stabilize and/or improve the students' physical and mental performance and, at the same time, to train health and social skills, such as team communication and integration skills. Since 1999, the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences has been a partner university for top level sports. Sports: The university offers its own sports program with up to 40 sports offers per week.
