Special features regarding the library
As a learning and information centre, the HSB provides access to print and electronic information, skilled staff to assist users, and well-equipped workspaces. In addition to specialist databases, the search-engine-based FINC discovery catalogue also gives users access to excellent resources for searching the print and electronic collections of the HSB. The service portfolio includes training sessions for users, events and exhibitions. The HSB is open 72 hours a week. Self-checkout, printing and copying equipment, a blog and Facebook are other services and resources on offer. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The university sports programme offers sports activities specially tailored to the daily rhythm of teaching and research. Practice times, sports facilities and types of sports are organised so as to ensure that a physical balance is achieved in everyday university life. As well as taking part in organised traditional and trend sports, it is also possible to use the university's own fitness studio independently and to take advantage of the outdoor sports facilities.
