In addition to approx. 228,000 print media, approx. 130,000 e-books, 30,200 e-journals and 94 specialist databases, the university library offers excellent research options in the "FINC" discovery catalogue. To promote information and media literacy, subject-specific training courses, tours and lectures are offered. The HSB offers optimal learning and working conditions, as well as generous opening times. The HSB supports open access publishing on LIBDOC, among other things. A diverse range of library series in the Studium Generale rounds off the HSB portfolio. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. The university sports programme offers sports activities specially tailored to the daily rhythm of teaching and research. Practice times, sports facilities and types of sports are organised so as to ensure that a physical balance is achieved in everyday university life. As well as taking part in organised traditional and trend sports, it is also possible to use the university's own fitness studio independently and to take advantage of the outdoor sports facilities.
