Special features regarding the library
The primary purpose of the library is to provide students, professors and staff of the university with literature and information for study, teaching and research. In addition, it is available in the city and region for scientific and professional purposes as well as for general education and training. The inventory of the university library can be found in Zwickau in the main library at the “Kornmarkt” as well as in the departmental libraries Scheffelstraße, Schneeberg, Markneukirchen and Reichenbach. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. The university sports programme offers sports activities specially tailored to the daily rhythm of teaching and research. Practice times, sports facilities and types of sports are organised so as to ensure that a physical balance is achieved in everyday university life. As well as taking part in organised traditional and trend sports, it is also possible to use the university's own fitness studio independently and to take advantage of the outdoor sports facilities.
