Special features regarding the library
The joint library of the ehs Dresden and the BA Dresden serves as a public academic institution for the provision of literature and information for studying, teaching, research as well as training and further education purposes. It has a stock of about 55,000 volumes, 30,000 e-books and approx. 200 specialist journal subscriptions. The entire stock can be searched online and is listed in the catalogue of the SWB (South-West Germany library association). Opening Hours: Mon, Wed: 09:00-17:00; Tue, Thu: 09:00-19:00; Fri: 9:00-15:00. more information
Foreign language courses
English, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, German as a Foreign Language (DaF), Czech, Sign Language. In addition, the students can make use of the activities offered by the foreign language centre of the University of Applied Sciences.
Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. All students of the ehs can participate in the TU Dresden sports programme. In addition to the sports programme offered by the partner university (TU Dresden), students organise and help run football (active football team), volleyball, table tennis, juggling and dance., juggling and dance. more information
