Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg. The programme is open to: Students of the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg and the Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal. In addition to the weekly attractive learning and needs-based sports programme, workshops are offered for relaxing massage, Argentinian tango, contact improvisation and sailing trips. In addition to more traditional team sports, courses are also available in core functional, freeletics, futsal, rugby and American football.. more information
