Opening times central course guidance
Telephone hours: Mon-Thu 10:00-12:00, also Wed 16:00-18:00. Additional drop-in office hours for consultations in person every Monday 14:00-16:00, and once a month in the Agriculture Department in Osterrönfeld (further information available online). Appointments are also possible by arrangement.

Foreign language courses
There is a foreign language centre. Following programmes (currently 10 languages) are offered: Chinese, Danish, English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. The sports programme is generally also open to students of the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel and Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel through a fee-based administration agreement between the higher education institutions on the terms for the university students. The sports programme of FH Kiel is organised by two student assistants on behalf of the Executive Committee. Tasks are undertaken in a sports office established for this purpose. All sports activities of the campus on the east bank are coordinated here. A budget is available to cover the cost of preparation of the course programme, hall hire and the instructor fees. more information
