Special features regarding the library
Locations: Springer Online gives our students have a wide selection of specialist literature. The library at the University of Vechta and the media library in Diepholz can be used as well.
Foreign language center and courses
There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, Spanish. The students of the PHWT in Vechta have access to the language learning centre, which is operated jointly by the PHWT and the University of Vechta.
Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Students can participate in the sports programme at the University of Vechta. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The PHWT offers weekly a sports meeting in Diepholz. PHWT has its own university sports group at the Diepholz site, in which students from Vechta are also welcome to take part. Every year the sports group organizes tournaments in which, among others, the university teachers take part. Sports: Students have access to other local sports activities, such as swimming, volleyball, cycling, dance, sailing, tennis and much more. The student-organised Sport Committee offers additional events.
