Special features regarding the library
As the central academic library, the State and University Library Bremen (SuUB) supports all state higher education institutions in Bremen and Bremerhaven. The search system E-LIB offers integrated access to currently 67 million print and electronic media. The library offers students modern individual workspaces and group work zones as well as an extensive range of options for individual consultation and training for groups, e.g. introductions to academic research or courses on the subject of literature management. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. University sports offers students, members of the university and the citizens of Bremen a diverse programme whose main focus is doing sports together and having fun. There are currently around 450 courses, from popular and leisure sports to competitive sports for students, from acrobatics to circus arts. Members learn new and alternative sporting disciplines or improve their performance and technique in sports they already know. Of the approx. 8,500 participants each semester, around one third are non-students. more information
