Foreign language center and courses
There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Chinese. The Centre for Languages and Diversity regularly reviews its offers of foreign-language instruction and adapts or expands them as needed. The foreign-language courses offered are both curricular and extra-curricular. Students are also advised on offers outside the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. For the extra-curricular area, there is a cooperation arrangement in place with a language school in Berlin. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. SRH offers its own sports events such as a football and beach volleyball tournament or a short marathon through Berlin. SRH is a member of the General German University Sports Association (ADH). Hence, students can register for sports offers at other universities in Berlin. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Students benefit from a diverse range of sports on offer at Berlin's universities. The university also hosts sporting events of its own. The university’s membership in the General German University Sports Association (ADH) means that there are certain educational and competition offers offered by ADH that students can use throughout Germany. Through membership in SRH, students can register for the ‘Private Cup’. more information
