Opening times central course guidance
Telephone and counter consultation hours Information point: Mon to Fri 09:30-13:00 and 14:00-15:00; Telephone consultation hours of the student advisory service and Examination Office: Mon to Thu 09:00-12:00. Appointments are also possible by arrangement.
Special features regarding the library
The library is the central service facility for literature and information. The collection profile is based around the themes that make up the university's key focus. The print media is available for immediate loan at a central location. E-books and e-journals licensed for the campus are taking on an increasingly important role alongside the conventional literature range. Subject-related research tools are provided for extended literature searches. The library is able to provide literature from other libraries through the interlibrary loan system. more information

Special features regarding university sports
In Hamburg the university sports programme is a joint service of all the state and state-recognised higher education institutions. The central tasks of the university sports programme are: the promotion of sport, movement and health; Courses in popular and competitive sports; social integration into life and work at higher education institutions, irrespective of origin, culture, ethnicity or gender; promotion of communication between members of the university across departmental and institutional boundaries. Every year, up to 1,400 sports courses, workshops, trips and competitions are organised for around 100 different types of sport. more information
