| The "Sports City Riesa" brand name sums up our commitment and our programme. The SC Riesa (as one of the largest sports clubs in Saxony) and the Förder- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft Riesa (FVG) (as the operating company of the "erdgas arena") are operating partners for the academy, and the city grants use of many sports facilities. A student Sports Department has been founded within the SC Riesa, which is run by students of the academy. Students of the Events and Sports Management course organise a sports festival every year. Riesa is hosting Saxony’s University Sports Festival in 2017. more information |
