Opening times central course guidance
Drop-in office hours (without prior appointment): Mon and Fri 09:00-12:00, Tue and Thu 15:00-17:00. During the application period (May to June), there are additional information and consultation hours. Appointments are also possible by arrangement.
Special features regarding the library
The university library and its branch and specialist libraries are centrally located on the campus near the institute and are mostly open seven days a week until late in the evening. They offer around 1,600 reading and computer work stations with modern equipment. An easily accessible stock of current literature is supplemented by a rapidly expanding range of electronic media: There are 3.7 million printed volumes, around 1.1 e-books and 45,000 online journals available. Library workshops and advisory services provide support in every study phase. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. The programme is open to: Students of the University of Marburg and the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the University of Marburg and the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. Through its varied and competently provided university sports programme, the JLU aims to offer all students the opportunity to play sports and to take regular exercise, achieving a balance with studies. There is a particular focus on health-related courses, such as yoga, Pilates and back exercises. The university sports programme is supplemented by a wide range of courses in the fields of fitness, outdoor sports, martial arts, individual sports and dance sport. In addition, various team and racquet sports are offered and events held, e.g. tournaments and action days. more information
