Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is free of charge. Students attending the HfWU can participate in the sports programme of the Hochschulregion Tübingen-Hohenheim. Some sport groups host their own tournaments (football, basketball, volleyball, riding), which are contested either as internal university events or in cooperation with other universities. Every year, there is a summer festival of popular sports, one university run per semester and one Sports Day organised by students. In 2017, the FBF faculty launched a football tournament, in which students, staff and professors also took part. In the subsequent years, the tournament is to become a regular and integral part of the university sports programme. Member of the General German University Sports Federation. more information
