The library is characterised in particular by an extensive range of advice on the topics of scientific work and information literacy (individual and group appointments). It works with a strong focus on users and tailors its offers to the needs of students and researchers. Analogue media and e-books are purchased in a demand-oriented manner and documented in an online catalogue. The library also provides access to a number of online databases. Special features regarding university sports
