Special features regarding the library
The library is characterised in particular by an extensive range of advice on the topics of scientific work and information literacy (individual and group appointments). It works with a strong focus on users and tailors its offers to the needs of students and researchers. Analogue media and e-books are purchased in a demand-oriented manner and documented in an online catalogue. The library also provides access to a number of online databases. Foreign language courses
There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: Chinese, English, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish.
Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. The university is a member of the General German University Sports Association. This entitles all enrolled students and employees to take advantage of the Berlin-wide range of universities and to book courses at a discount. The largest providers include the Humboldt University, the Technical University and the Free University. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees.
