Special features regarding the library
The library on the Benediktbeuern campus provides students and teachers with 45,000 print books, 15,000 e-books and 180 magazine subscriptions. The focus is on the subject areas of Social Work, Religious Education and their reference sciences. The library team offers guided tours for initial orientation via the learning app and training and advice on researching electronic databases and the Citavi literature management program. There are 26 workstations and a group workstation with connection to the university network or WiFi. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the ZHS University Sports Centre Munich. University gymnasium available at all required times, incl. at the weekends. The offer is adapted to the needs of our students every semester - for example: Volleyball, table tennis, hip hop, basketball, capoeira, soccer, dance, badminton, handball, tai chi, yoga, games; offers also on weekends. Outdoor sports such as jogging or Nordic walking are also offered. Particularly within the scope of our additional qualification in experiential pedagogics, we offer one-week nature-based programmes with a focus on climbing, mountain biking, Alpine and river rafting. Participation is subject to fees. more information
