Special features regarding the library
The library of the Benediktbeuern campus provides students and teachers with 40,000 print books, 17,500 e-books, AV media and 180 current subscriptions to journals, with a focus on social work and religious education and their reference sciences. Books that are not present can be ordered via interlibrary loan. The library team offers guided tours for the first orientation as well as training for research in electronic databases and literature management. There are 26 workstations connected to the university network or WiFi are available. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is free of charge. Students attending the institution can participate in the sports programme of the ZHS University Sports Centre Munich. University gymnasium available at all required times, incl. at the weekends. The range of activities is determined each semester according to our students' requirements, e.g: volleyball, table tennis, hip hop, basketball, Capoeira, football, dance, badminton, handball, Tai Chi, yoga, games; Courses are also offered at the weekends. Outdoor sports such as jogging or Nordic walking are also offered. Particularly within the scope of our additional qualification in experiential pedagogics, we offer one-week nature-based programmes with a focus on climbing, mountain biking, Alpine and river rafting. more information
