Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Participation possible at: Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Hessian University of Applied Sciences (also known as Hessische Hochschule für Polizei und Verwaltung). Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Since 2021 we have 2 own sports facilities: A newly built fitness parkour with 10 stations on the KSR Campus and a covered boulder wall on the campus in Rüsselsheim. The sports programme had to be reworked several times as a result of the pandemic. Nevertheless, 30 courses were held once again, some in person and some online. All excursions have been cancelled due to the pandemic. The DHM Golf was held in Idstein in 2021. The DHM women’s small-pitch football and the DHP men’s football are planned for 2022 in Rüsselsheim.
