Special features regarding the library
The RheinMain University and State Library is the university library for the Hochschule RheinMain (with four sites in Wiesbaden and one in Rüsselsheim) and the academic universal library for the city and region of Wiesbaden. In addition to print media, it also provides users with extensive digital media (electronic journals and databases, e-books). To support its users with their academic work, guided tours and introductions to literature searches and administration are offered. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Hessische Hochschule für Polizei und Verwaltung Wiesbaden The programme is open to, according to a resolution of the Hessian State Conference for university sports facilities, to students of all higher education institutions in Hesse; Students of the University of Mainz. Joint university sports programme with the Hessian University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration and joint competitive team since 2015. In cooperation with the HfPV: 2017 organiser of German University Championships (ju-jutsu), one adh-Open (beach soccer), 2018 German university championship (golf), one German university cup (mixed volleyball) and one network meeting for the General German University Sports Federation. more information
