Special features regarding the library
The focal points are: Economics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Communication Management, Theatre Education, Care Management. The library offers attractive learning spaces and good service. On the WiFi and PCs provided, users can search well in excess of 1 million e-books, e-journals and full texts directly on site. Much of the content is accessible from home via VPN. Special features regarding university sports
Students attending the institution sports programme of the University of Osnabrück and in some sports programmes of the institutions in the regional university sports federation of Lower Saxony/Bremen. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. A smaller, separate sports programme is provided by the University Sports Centre of the University of Osnabrück on the Lingen campus. Dance courses are part of the programme along with fitness and health courses and traditional ball sports. In addition to face-to-face sporting activities, online courses are also offered which allow participation at home. Furthermore, there is the possibility to participate in sports trips and the university sports offers in and around Osnabrück. more information
