Special features regarding the library
The Macromedia Library is represented at each of the university's seven locations with its own library, which is centrally managed by Stuttgart. Each site has a library assistant who provides students academic guidance and information about all issues related to the communication of information. A library room with workspaces for quiet work is also available in each location. As well as providing introductions to using the university library itself, its catalogue and search options, the library also gives advice on how to use other public libraries in the area. more information
Foreign language center and courses
There is a foreign language centre. Offered languages: English, French, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic. Foreign language training is provided in cooperation with an external language provider. Students are free to choose from the Rosetta Stone offerings. more information
Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. UniSport and the fitness studio UniFit are available as cooperation partners in Cologne. Students can make use of this offer free of charge. Special courses are also offered there, but there may be a charge for these. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The Cologne location offers participation in sports courses in cooperation with the UniSport Cologne. more information
