Special features regarding the library
As an additional service, the ISM library offers support in researching and correcting academic papers. First semester students already receive information on use of the library databases, lending terms, and use of the copy and book shop in their induction week. Prospective graduates are given training in research and intensive courses in academic writing. Individual guidance sessions possible by appointment. In Berlin, around 2,400 media items are available. The library is currently under development. more information

Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. On the Berlin campus, like-minded people can meet up through the sports working group. The working group organises cross-campus tournaments, rents halls or negotiates discounted sports offers. The interests range from football to basketball to cheer leading.
